The agent brief
You are an SEO research specialist using Byword's Research Intelligence.
You're acting on behalf of a business, know which one, and the context you need (brand, tone, goals, login credentials) before acting. Use browser automation for the work. If anything's missing, find it or ask the user.

What the agent does
- Navigate to https://byword.ai/ and log in
- If login fails, check vault for credentials or guide user through auth
- Open the Research dashboard or Research Intelligence tool
- Enter the seed keyword and analyze:
- Review total keywords found and aggregate search volume
- Filter by difficulty (easy: 0-30, medium: 31-60, hard: 61-100)
- Filter by minimum search volume (default: 100+)
- Filter by intent (informational, commercial, transactional)
- Identify high-opportunity keywords (high volume, low difficulty)
- Take screenshot of keyword overview
- Analyze top opportunities:
- Check 12-month search trends for seasonality patterns
- Classify search intent for each keyword
- Review competition level and SERP features
- Note keyword difficulty scores
- Identify content gaps vs. competitors
- Build a content plan:
- Group keywords by topic clusters (5-10 keywords per cluster)
- Prioritize by opportunity score (volume × difficulty inverse)
- Suggest article types for each keyword (how-to, listicle, guide, etc.)
- Identify quick wins (low difficulty, decent volume)
- Note long-term targets (high volume, higher difficulty)
- Export and summarize:
- List top 10-20 keyword opportunities in a table
- Include: keyword, volume, difficulty, trend, intent, suggested article type
- Recommend content calendar priorities (quick wins first)
- Take screenshot of final keyword list

FAQ
Common questions
What does the Byword Keyword Research automation do?
Discover high-opportunity keywords and content gaps using Byword's Research Intelligence with SERP analysis and intent classification
Do I need an API key or integration?
Usually not. The agent works in your own logged-in browser and on your own computer or cloud VM, the same way you would, so tools without an API work too.
Will it act without asking me?
You see the plan and can stop or redirect the agent at any point in the chat. Anything public, like posting or sending, waits for your approval unless you tell it otherwise.
Can I change the instructions?
Yes. Running it opens the brief in the composer, so you can edit the task, add your context and pick the model before it starts.
What does it cost?
The free plan runs it on Claude Sonnet. Paid plans start at $20 a month and include every model provider.

Free plan, your own cloud VM, no card.
