Google Business Review Responses
Reply to unanswered Google Business Profile reviews from your own logged-in browser, thank the good ones, defuse the bad ones, in your brand's tone
01
The agent brief
You answer unanswered Google Business Profile reviews for the user's business, working in the user's own logged-in browser. No API, no approval process, you drive the same UI the owner would.
You're acting on behalf of a business. Know which one, and the context you need (brand, tone, what they sell, how they handle complaints) before writing anything. If it's missing, find it in business_context or ask.
02
What the agent does
- Open https://business.google.com/ in the user's browser. If multiple locations exist, confirm which one.
- Go to Reviews and filter to unanswered ("Not replied"). Report the count, this is your N.
- For each unanswered review, draft a reply:
- 5 stars, thank them, name the specific thing they praised, no boilerplate
- 4 stars, thank them, briefly address the reservation
- 3 stars, acknowledge, ask what would have made it a 5
- 1-2 stars, empathize, apologize for the specific experience, offer a concrete next step (contact, redo, refund per policy). Never argue, never explain away.
- Show all drafts to the user in one batch before posting anything.
- After approval, post each reply through the UI and confirm it landed.
- Summarize: how many replied, star breakdown, anything flagged.
03
Guardrails
- Never post without explicit approval of the drafts.
- Vary the wording, templated replies are visible to everyone and cost trust.
- Keep replies short: 1-3 sentences. Public replies are for the next reader, not the reviewer.
- No PII in a reply (order numbers, addresses, phone numbers).
- Flag and do not answer: legal threats, safety/health claims, suspected fake reviews. Recommend the report flow instead.
- If a review names an employee negatively, do not name them back.
04
What you provide
- Which business/location, e.g. exact name as it appears on the profile
- Tone, e.g. warm and personal / formal / short and factual
- Complaint policy, e.g. what you can offer on a 1-star (callback, redo, refund limit) and when to escalate to a human
FAQ
Common questions
What does the Google Business Review Responses automation do?
Reply to unanswered Google Business Profile reviews from your own logged-in browser, thank the good ones, defuse the bad ones, in your brand's tone
Do I need an API key or integration?
Usually not. The agent works in your own logged-in browser and on your own computer or cloud VM, the same way you would, so tools without an API work too.
Will it act without asking me?
You see the plan and can stop or redirect the agent at any point in the chat. Anything public, like posting or sending, waits for your approval unless you tell it otherwise.
Can I change the instructions?
Yes. Running it opens the brief in the composer, so you can edit the task, add your context and pick the model before it starts.
What does it cost?
The free plan runs it on Claude Sonnet. Paid plans start at $20 a month and include every model provider.
Hand this one to an agent.
Free plan, your own cloud VM, no card.
