Plans and usage limitsWhat Base44 is, and where it stops
Base44 is the all-inclusive version of the prompt-to-app idea, now owned by Wix. Describe the app, and the front end, backend, authentication and database arrive together, hosted, with nothing to connect. It is the cheapest paid entry in the category and the free plan is enough to see whether the idea works. Paid plans add model selection, custom domains and GitHub sync.
Like every builder in this category, the app is the world. Base44 edits projects it generated, in Wix's cloud, and has no reach into an existing repository, your browser or your business tools. It also meters twice: message credits for building and integration credits for what the running app does, so the bill continues after the prompting stops.
